DEATHSFISHER, OCTAVIA Died Monday, Sept. 24, 1990, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was a native of Port Hudson and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Scott's Bluff Morticians, 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with family visitation at 7 p.m. Visiting at Camphor United Methodist Church, noon Friday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Moses T. Jackson. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by three sisters, Mable Rowley, Baton Rouge, Angela Brown, Washington, D.C., and Bertha Sims, Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, John Harrell, Harvey, Ill., and Edward Harrell, New Orleans; three sisters-in-law, Hazel and Adele Harrell and Lillian Harrell Washington; two brothers-in-law, Willie Rowley and Leroy J.H. Brown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, husband, and a daughter. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary No. 502. |
