Fred ROWLEY, city of Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin, of the firm of Rowley & Brothers, butchers, was born 06 July 1847 in England, and came to Racine in 1865. On 23 December 1868 he married Miss Elizabeth BUFFTON, who was born 01 July 1849 in Radnor, England. They have three children: (1) Randall, aged ten years; (2) Mark, eight years old; and (3) Lillie, two years of age. They are members of the Episcopal Church.

Mark ROWLEY, city of Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin, of the firm of Rowley & Brothers, butchers, was born in 1842 in England, came to Wisconsin in 1860, and to Racine in 1865. In December 1867 he married Miss Clara E. TOMLINSON, who was born in 1849 in Racine. [Wisconsin became a State 29 May 1848. Racine County was before then part of the Territory of Wisconsin.] They have three children: (1) Lena, aged eleven years; (2) Etta Norton, nine years old; and (3) Mollie, three years of age. They are members of the Episcopal Church.
