The wife of Charles W. Rowley was the widow of one Joseph Rowley, whose relationship is unknown. A Nancy Rowley testified in her behalf. In 1862, she was living in Middleport, IL and in 1866, in Watseka, IL. The soldier's name is found in the Roll of Honor 22:410, which shows his death to be 22 Nov 1862, whereas the pension papers say 21 Nov 1862. The family is unconnected.
