For Jireh, I have had a birth date of 11 Nov 1777 in Monroe Co., NY, however, my references show merely 1777 in Monroe Co. Do you know where the "Old Family Bible" you referred to that shows the 1774 date is located?
This following is a correction of sorts. After Elizabeth Brace died 1 Jan 1822 in NY, Jireh married about 1823, Mary (Polly) (Olmstead) Grey, widow of Alfred Grey. There were at least two boys and one girl from her first marriage. [I have always thought it was curious that Polly and Jireh's child carried the name of her deceased husband, Alfred Grey Rowley.]

Subject: Re: ROWLEY: Ichabod Rowley Tioga Co., PA 1817
Ichabod Rowley was the son of Nathan and Anna (---) Rowley of Canoe Camp, Tioga Co., PA. Nathan was the son of Thomas and Lois (Cass) Rowley. Thomas was the famed "Green Mountain Bard" and friend of Ethan Allen whose poetry is quoted on Tedd Rowley's marvelous website. Ichabod and family moved on, settling near Peoria, Illinois. Two sons, Albert S. and Nathan B., served in the Civil War, Nathan being killed in the last frontal assault on Vicksburg. Ichabod and his wife also had several other children.
