In his Revolutionary War Pension Application (S32493),
Private: Artificer: Connecticut Continental; Massachusetts. He served in Capt. Osborn's Co., Col. Jedathon Baldwin's Regiment in the Massachusetts line from 1777 to 1780. He served in the Tenth Company; Fourth Connecticut Regiment. He served in the American Revolution from 1777 to 1780 from CT
He was a blacksmith by trade. After service he moved from New York to Preble County, OH in 1827, then to Fulton County, IL, 4 Sep 1839. He was of Great Valley, Chattaraugus Co., NY 7 Jan 1819. One affidavit in his file was prepared by Thomas Rowlee of Buffalo, Erie Co., NY in 1822.
